Marlborough bike hire for biking wine tours

Wine Tours by Bike with Lorelle and Greg was a fantastic way to experience the Blenheim/Marlborough vineyards. They provided helpful insight on how to make a route for the wineries, as well as provided options for food stops. They kept safety at the forefront and made sure to highlight bike-friendly roads. The bikes were in great condition and very well maintained. Additionally, they offered to pick up any wine bottles that were purchased throughout the day, and they even provided a free shuttle service to and from our Airbnb. Greg and Lorelle were so friendly and we truly could not recommend this experience any higher!

We met Lorelle when she picked us up from our accommodation in Blenheim and chatted about all things wine and NZ. She took us to the bike and info shed where we had a brilliant quick brief about the area and the wineries to go to and those not to. Honestly for a self guided trip this is every persons dream. We then went about our merry way visiting the wineries in extremely clearly marked tracks and a few roads - but exactly as the map indicated. It’s a simple day - but a fantastic way to navigate through an amazing wine region of the world. We did sample some unbelievable wines.

Greg picked us up from our accommodation. We were quickly sorted with bikes at their base and given helpful instructions on navigating the area. The bike paths are very easy to ride and we enjoyed seeing the vines - and river - from a different perspective. We had a really fun day and having Lorelle drop us back (with a couple of bottles we had purchased along the way) made the day so easy. Would definitely recommend anyone to do the wine tasting in Blenheim this way!
